Training contracts

The firm is currently recruiting for training contracts commencing in September 2014 and March 2015, and has 45 vacancies in total.BLP’s trainee spend six months in four seats and progress is reviewed every three months. The majority of trainees will gain experience within the Real Estate, and Corporate Finance departments and undertake a contentious seat during their training contract. Client secondments are a popular choice, and there is the opportunity to undertake an international seat in either Brussels, Moscow or Abu Dhabi.

Vacation schemes

In addition BLP runs a one week winter vacation scheme, a one week spring vacation scheme and various summer vacation schemes (one to two weeks in duration). Vacation scheme participants have the opportunity to sit in a department of their choice and gain hands-on experience working alongside the firm’s solicitors, before automatically being interviewed for a training contract.
