Dear Students,


Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on attaining a place on the law programme at King’s College London. It gives me immense pride in recognising that the university’s law school, remains one of the top five law schools in the country, and earning a place on its prestigious law programme is a tremendous achievement.

I am extremely passionate about our Society as I believe we cater well to the needs and wants of our student body. As president I am proud to be an ambassador to our faculty. I am happy to offer help and advice to current students as well as prospective students. It is also my duty to liaise with law firms and other members of the profession to organise sponsorship and ensure that the members of our society are exposed to the profession and all the relevant information they need to best enable them to forge a career after their law degree.

Being a part of one of King’s College London’s biggest, and most successful societies, ensures an unparalleled opportunity to benefit from your time at university. The Law Society organises a vast variety of different events throughout the year in our attempt to cater to as many of you as possible. The Law Society’s social events are the envy of every other society as we as lawyers are infamous for our superb parties at the most exclusive of London venues. Debating and mooting offers a fantastic means to improve public speaking skills and to try something new. Our vocational events ensure that our students have access to the highest quality information regarding careers from the leading global law firms. Finally, the sporting opportunities organised against our rival London Law Schools, provide a platform to meet other like-minded students and to excel, not only at an academic level.
